Eric Ellis Personal Trainer, Nutrition Consultant and Boot Camp Instructor
BIO Eric Ellis developed his love of fitness growing up in Trenton N.J. As a youth he participated in several sports including football, track, swimming, baseball, soccer and boxing. After suffering an injury playing his beloved football, he started to train and compete as a boxer for Trenton’s Teen Post. He was strongly influenced by his coach “Brother James” Downing, who displayed a passion for helping young people in his community. “Brother James” saw a similar passion in Eric and gave him the responsibility and privilege of mentoring younger fighters.
In 1996 while rehabbing his surgically repaired knee with Sports Trainer “Poppy Sanders”, he expressed the desire to expand his knowledge of the body and fitness. This training would help satisfy his aspiration of helping others achieve their fitness goals. He received his training from the International Sports Science Association.
In 1997 he moved to South Florida, where he began to coach several youth sport teams. He also picked up boxing again fighting in amateur competitions and club events. After coaching and training for several years, he moved to Central Florida where he founded the “Orlando Fit Club”. He continues to coach and mentor youth and adults, helping them to reach their fitness and health goals.
